This role is based out of our Chicago, IL office on a hybrid (three days in office) schedule. 

About the role

The Senior Manager, FP&A will play a key role in driving financial planning, forecasting and strategic analysis for Attain. This individual will partner with leadership to provide data-driven insights that support key business decisions across the organization. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial modeling and experience building best practices for a growing FP&A function.

What a typical week might look like

• Build and analyze financial reports and present insights to leadership, including financial KPIs and budget-to-actual reporting
• Identify cost-saving opportunities by conducting in-depth analysis with key business leaders
• Build ad-hoc reporting in various accounting tools (NetSuite, Looker, Excel) to discover and deliver clean insights on company performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate forecasting and financial planning

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in variety of FP&A and accounting roles; start-ups or high growth companies is strongly preferred 
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
• Strong understanding of financial statements, forecasting and business analytics
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, accounting systems, and data visualization tools (e.g., NetSuite, Looker)
• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Develop and build a robust budget-to-actuals reporting structure
• Develop new financial models that provide deeper insights into business performance
• Enhance collaboration between FP&A and other departments, driving better financial decisions
• Implement scalable financial processes that improve efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting
• Provide data-driven recommendations that influence company strategy and operations
