Role Summary:

The Senior Manager, FP&A will be responsible for leading FP&A activities for Saks OFF 5TH Digital fixed & variable expenses. These responsibilities include leading the annual budgeting process, monthly close reconciliations, quarterly forecasting, and any other ad hoc analysis. This role is an exciting part of our Finance team which allows you to lead core functions of the Saks OFF 5TH P&L while building relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Qualifications: 

• 7+ years of experience in a FP&A role or equivalent Analytical role 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

• Full mastery of Excel is required

• Workday / Essbase system experience is required

• Must be a self-starter, adaptable to change, and thrive in a collaborative environment

• Strong attention to detail

Role Description:

• Manages Saks OFF 5TH Digital P&L rollup for annual plan, BOD forecasts and monthly actuals 

• Owns sales & margin and general administrative costs annual plan, forecasts and reporting 

• Supports the annual budgeting and long-range planning process through budget model creation and data solicitation

• Works with cross-functional teams and partners within our finance team to develop monthly / quarterly BOD financial forecasts

• Partners closely with the accounting team on monthly close reconciliations

• Works with the team to oversee periodic variance analyses and provides explanation of material variances 

• Leads monthly financial reviews with cross-functional teams

• Manages our Essbase finance database system structure in partnership with the Saks technology team

• Partners with the Saks technology team to ensure Essbase and Workday P&L reporting accuracy 

• Assists with ad hoc analysis, recaps and prepares financial decks
