About the Role
For this job we are currently only hiring candidates based in the United States with a strong preference in Eastern and Central times.
Ontra is seeking a Senior Manager, FP&A reporting to our Director, FP&A.
This role is a great opportunity for individuals who excel in fast-paced, dynamic environments and have a proven track record in strategic finance and financial analysis. This role is integral to the development, tracking, and reporting of key operational and financial metrics, and plays a crucial role in our forecasting and budgeting processes. It involves meaningful collaboration with R&D and GTM teams to drive long-range revenue forecasts and ROI analyses on strategic initiatives.

What You'll Do
- Revenue Model Management: Contribute to the maintenance and expansion of the company's revenue model
- Strategic Financial Reporting: Support the development, tracking, and reporting of financial and operational metrics.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with key stakeholders across the business to optimize forecasting for various planning cycles.
- Project Modeling: Build and maintain models for ad-hoc requests and special projects, including financial analyses and ROI assessments.
- People Management: Lead and mentor a financial analyst, fostering a collaborative environment
What You'll Bring
- Professional Experience: 6+ years in financial modeling and analysis with 2+ years as a people manager
- Industry Experience: Experience working in high growth technology businesses, investment banking, private equity, consulting, or similar roles is highly desirable.
- Analytical Proficiency: Exceptional analytical skills with a focus on financial data and metrics.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex data in a clear and effective manner.
- Excel proficiency: A background in constructing detailed financial models and forecasts using Excel, incorporating best practices in financial analysis

Pay TransparencyOntra takes individual candidate location, experience, and skills into consideration when determining compensation. The base pay range is listed below. Additionally, all positions are eligible for unit-based equity grants.
Some positions may be eligible for additional compensation, such as commission or other variable compensation structures, which is not included in the below base pay range.
