The Senior Manager, FP&A – Functional Costs is responsible for end-to-end financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis of assigned global functional cost areas (e.g., G&A, IT, HR, Finance, Legal, or other centrally managed functions). The role partners closely with functional leaders to drive cost transparency, disciplined forecasting, and decision oriented insights, ensuring alignment with financial targets and strategic priorities.
This position reports to the Finance Director, HQ FP&A and is part of the broader HQ FP&A organization located in Budapest, Hungary and will be an on-site role.
What you will do:
- Oversees financial forecasting, budget planning, and expense modeling with global teams.
- Supports monthly financial close, including accruals, actuals validation, and variance analysis; ensuring system alignment and SOX compliance.
- Delivers actionable analytics, executive reports, and dashboards; tracks cost efficiency and savings to support performance management.
- Act as a trusted finance partner by offering strategic guidance, questioning assumptions, encouraging cost control, and assisting with business case analyses and transformation projects.
- Lead process improvement by simplifying, standardizing, and automating day-to-day activities and reporting. Implement AI to boost finance productivity, use efficiency tools and best practices, and support ongoing improvement efforts.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 5–7+ years of experience in FP&A, management finance, or related analytical roles.
- Strong experience with cost forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills; strong financial modeling capability.
- Ability to communicate complex financial topics clearly to non‑finance stakeholders.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Familiarity with ERP and FP&A systems (e.g., OneStream, Qlik, SAP, Oracle).
- Proactive, independent, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- Experience working in a global, matrixed organization.
