The Importance of the Role
The Senior Manager, Forecasting and Analytics reports to the Director, Forecasting and Launch Readiness and is responsible for building robust commercial forecasts, generating decision-ready analyses, and developing perspectives that support the commercial success of Sarepta’s in-line and pipeline portfolio. This role partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including Competitive Intelligence, Market Research, Sales, Finance, Business Performance, Market Access, Patient Services, and International Business, to develop pressure-tested forecasts, commercial perspectives, and business targetsThe Opportunity to Make a Difference
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Build, own, and maintain lifecycle-appropriate forecasting models for Sarepta’s U.S. and global in-line and pipeline portfolio.
- Develop forecast scenarios, sensitivity analyses, business opportunity estimates, and near- and long-term therapy adoption projections.
- Translate strategic, operational, and financial drivers into robust forecast assumptions and models.
- Evolve forecasting capabilities through model refreshes, scenario analyses, and variance reporting in partnership with key stakeholders.
- Support planning processes, including S&OP, LRP, and LEs, ensuring risks and uncertainties are reflected in commercial decisions.
- Support quarterly HCP targeting activity for four in-market products to support demand generation and sales execution.
- Lead development and management of forecast models for pipeline therapies, including SiRNA programs.
- Drive ad hoc analyses to refine assumptions and support board and leadership discussions.
- Produce periodic demand forecasts in collaboration with Commercial, Finance, and Tech Ops.
- Monitor market dynamics and update forecasts to reflect relevant industry and therapeutic-area developments.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships with key collaborators.
- Perform other related duties as needed.
More about You
Desired Education and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree with 7-9 years of experience in a scientific, quantitative, or statistics-related field required; master’s degree with 5-7 years of experience strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of forecasting and analytics experience in biopharma; rare disease experience preferred; consulting experience a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill insights and forecast perspectives for Commercial Leadership, Executive Committee, and Board discussions.
- Experience using AI tools and agents to automate recurring analyses and support deeper insight generation.
- Strong analytical mindset with solid quantitative skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Tableau, or similar data visualization and analysis tools.
- Preferred experience with advanced analysis using SQL, Python, or similar languages.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong logical and critical thinking skills, including the ability to perform quick, reliable back-of-the-envelope analyses for leadership discussions.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
