Your employer is okadis - here you are part of the team, and from here you shape client projects.
The Role
We are looking for an exceptionally strong (Senior) Manager for Financial Services Transformation: a professional with genuine consulting expertise who can structure complex banking and IT programs, lead teams, and take responsibility for results all the way through to implementation.
You will work closely with our clients’ management and interdisciplinary delivery teams to design end-to-end transformations at the intersection of business and IT—from the target state and roadmap through to implementation and stabilization.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end ownership of transformation projects and major workstreams.
- Business-IT translation: translating business objectives into actionable requirements.
- Delivery leadership: leading multidisciplinary teams (consulting/IT), setting priorities, managing dependencies, and integrating partners/third parties.
- Transformation topics (project-dependent): Core & platform modernization, finance & controlling, regulatory reporting, data analytics, operating model & process harmonization.
- People & practice development: Coaching & mentoring, establishing standards for consulting quality, contributing to proposals/business development.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in financial services (ideally banking) with a strong IT focus—e.g., in (IT) strategy/transformation consulting, in-house banking transformation, or IT program/project management.
- Proven leadership experience: project/workstream management, team leadership, stakeholder management (including senior leadership), and coordination of external parties.
- Experience in SAP-related banking/finance/data contexts, integration architectures, and data platforms/reporting setups.
- Consulting skills and methodological expertise: rigorous structuring, hypothesis-driven work, storyline/executive communication, facilitation, clear recommendations—even in the face of uncertainty.
- Solid understanding of banking domains (e.g., payments/core banking, lending, banking control/risk, finance/regulatory) and their system mapping.
- Implementation-oriented: You don’t just present topics “on a slide,” but see them through to delivery, testing, cutover, and handover to operations.
- Very good German and English (business fluent).
Benefits
- High-impact, lean setup: Be part of a high-performing team focused on delivering measurable customer value.
- Leadership track: Clear career development opportunities with room for specialization.
- Best of both worlds: The agility of a focused consulting firm combined with the ecosystem and market reach of an established group.
- Flexible work arrangements (remote) and attractive, performance-based compensation.
