Financial Reporting – Vice President 3 [Senior Manager] 
 
Role Location: Guernsey, Channel Islands 
Department: Financial Reporting
Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time

The Role & Key Responsibilities: 
As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible in creating and maintaining a high performing team. You will be expected to build and sustain excellent client relationships and help achieve our mission of delivering excellent client service as well as assisting the Senior Vice President(s) in supporting the goals, aims and strategies of the Company and performing the duties of the role diligently and professionally.

Operations 
 Provide leadership.
 Take responsibility for the quality of the team’s output.
 Work with other Team Managers and the Senior Team ensure compliance with internal and external service delivery objectives.
 Prepare and/or review of management, interim and audited accounts for all the section's clients as well as assisting the Senior Vice President(s) with monitoring and oversight of all entities contracted locally.
 Assist the Senior Vice President(s) with the delegation and oversight of the 
preparation and review of capital adequacy calculation of licensed entities, 
management fees, carry calculations, regulatory returns and all other ad hoc 
accounting tasks as required.
 Oversee the planning of annual audits and liaise with clients to establish 
timetables for the receipt of valuations and advisers reports and other relevant 
information.
 Assist the Senior Vice President(s) in the facilitation and monitoring of the 
preparation of all quarterly and annual financial statements produced for 
Guernsey contracted business to ensure that LPA and regulatory deadlines are 
met.
 Assist the Senior Vice President(s) with the oversight, planning and delivery of the annual audit process.
 Assist the Senior Vice President(s) with the setup, oversight and monitoring ofoperation of the Apex outsourcing model for financial reporting.
 Act as escalation point for client issues in conjunction with Client

Relationship Management team.
 Oversee the preparation of carried interest and other calculations in accordance with the fund documentation.
 Act as a Signatory.
 May act as Director on client boards.
 To provide cover to other sections in times of need.
 Develop and maintain bespoke reports for clients' specific requirements.
 To assist with all aspects of general administration of clients including ad hoc queries.

Development of People
 Manage, train and develop Assistant Managers and Managers to be excellent 
leaders. 
 Motivate and empower all team members by building their capabilities.
 Assist the Senior Vice President(s) with the review, recommendation and 
implementation of agreed changes to business procedures seeking to confirm 
best practice across all Groups.
 To provide regular coaching and feedback to ensure that team deliveries are at the superlative level.
 Review work performed by members of the team, implement individual 
development plans and hold regular one-on-one meetings.
 To truly foster the spirit of teamwork and client service excellence across the brief

Skills Required:
 Ability to lead self and others – be a self-starter and help others to step up when they are faced with challenges.
 Strong skills in managing and building relationships with clients, ensuring high service delivery outcomes.
 Possess a relevant accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA etc) and have at least 5 years working in a managerial capacity in a financial institution, preferably within a Private Equity Fund Administration environment.
 Comprehensive understanding of fund administration, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
 Focused on great service delivery/outcomes for the client.
 Have been previously approved by a regulatory body as a principal person.
 Strong inter-personal skills and technical experience from a background in fund administration.
 Integrity, discretion, and tact in all professional dealings.
 Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
 Creative thinking and the ability to deliver pragmatic solutions and ability to 
reflect on and review actions for continuous improvement.
