As a key member of the Financial Reporting team, the Financial Reporting Senior Manager ensures accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and Group accounting policies. This role involves overseeing the preparation of financial statements, managing the month-end close process, and ensuring robust financial controls.Job Descriptions:
Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and group reporting in accordance with IFRS and Group requirements
Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurate and reconciled.
Conduct financial analysis and prepare reports to support management decision-making.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies and support internal and external audits.
Lead and develop a team of financial reporting professionals, providing guidance and support.
Drive the implementation of system enhancements and participate in finance-related projects to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 8 years of working experience
Experience in Life Insurance business is a plus
Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese
Proficient in MS office and high proficiency in MS Excel
Knowledge in SUN Accounts
Knowledge of the insurance business is a plus
Knowledge of the investment accounting is a plus
Good communication skill to work effectively across teams/departments
Good Business writing
Ability to multi-task and be flexible in adapting to changing priorities and to work independently
Strong technical knowledge in controls and processes
