Job Description
Investing in our people, processes, systems and data is key to ensure Checkout.com scales into the future. As the Finance Transformation Senior Manager at Checkout.com you'll be responsible for helping the Finance Team deliver on Checkout.com’s objectives by implementing systems, process re-engineering (covering controls and risk management) and designing operating models.
We have embarked on a programme of work that will transform our back office finance and treasury systems. You will play a key role in this programme through implementing other systems, project managing workstreams and challenging the new design of processes.
Responsibilities:
As Finance Transformation Senior Manager at Checkout.com you'll be responsible for the following.

Partnering with finance to implement systems, improve process and design operating models.

Creating project plans, RAID logs, RACIs and reporting on progress to governance forums.

Challenging our processes to implement best practices and automation where possible.

Building business cases to provide greater automation and control within finance.

Simplifying complex concepts by using the right level of technical terminology for the audience and anticipating the level of readiness of the audience to comprehend new technical information.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the role will bring:
-
Experienced in finance transformation projects/ programmes where you are implementing systems and improving processes through process re-engineering.

You have experience implementing Governance, Risk and Compliance tools as well as Procurement and Employee Expense systems. Prior experience with Workday Financials, Coupa and Dell Boomi will be beneficial.

Able to act as a project manager to develop project plans, RAID logs, RACIs and then execute a project across functions.

Good understanding of systems and integration approaches.

Excellent at communicating to senior stakeholders and team members to identify issues and propose solutions
-
Able to identify problems, define the root cause, determine the solution and propose the solution.

Able to translate technical expertise into solutions and process guidance to implement improvements or address user issues.

Experienced in data analysis, data manipulation and reporting.

Understanding of broader best-practice Finance processes.
-
Strong understanding of ITGCs, including how to set these up in systems and ability to provide evidence of their effectiveness.
