Job Description
The Head of Accounting and Finance will be a strategic partner in driving the company’s financial performance, ensuring compliance, and supporting business growth. This role requires a leader with strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of Indian financial regulations, and the ability to navigate the complexities of the software/IT industry.
- Proven 5+ work experience as a Finance lead or similar leadership role.
- Hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management
- Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Indian GAAP and US GAAP
- Proficiency in accounting software SAP/Oracle or similar ERP
- Advanced knowledge of Direct Tax and Transfer Price
- Advanced knowledge of Indirect Tax (GST and RCM)
- Working knowledge of Customs and STPI
- Solid analytical and decision-making skills
- Experience in managing entity-level compliance in the required geography
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with global teams, demonstrating strong cultural sensitivity and adaptability in diverse work environments
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Stakeholder management and liaise with regulatory authorities
Qualifications
Education : Chartered accountant (CA)
