Your Mission:
- Assist SVP, Finance and Director, Finance & Accounting in monthly GL close and consolidation of the Australian subsidiary.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and be responsible for GL maintenance for the Australian subsidiary.
- Overseen local statutory reporting, compliance, and Australian entity going concern.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors and ensure compliance with GST, payroll and income tax regulations.
- Prepare account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage accounts payable and payment calendar.
- Coordinate with Project Delivery and Project Accounting teams on project costs tracking
- Coordinate with Procurement team on purchase order review and status.
- Coordinate with People (HR) team on payroll.
- Prepare weekly pacing report including cash and AP status.
- Maintain SOX404 compliance for Australian entity and implement company policies and internal controls.
- Maintain local banking and insurance relationships and resolve issues as they arise.
- Maintain and update bond and letter of credit listings and provide assistance with the company’s bond portfolio.
- Participate in budget planning.
- Assist SVP, Finance with monthly rolling forecast and management reports.
- Assist SVP, Finance and CFO with financial modeling for business development and other ad hoc analysis as needed.
- Assist business leaders in Australian entity to prepare proforma and financial analysis on new business initiatives and projects.
- Work in cross functional capacity to provide accounting and finance support for Engineering, Product Development, Marketing, Project Management, and Sales departments.
- Shape a culture of collaboration, innovation, constant improvement, excellence, transparency, open mindedness, humility, integrity, efficiency, joy, compassion, and fulfillment. Prepare and provide cash reports to the Finance department and monitor account fundings.
Your Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related.
- CPA preferred (not required).
- 8+ years of experience in accounting including financial reporting roles with progressive responsibility.
- Public accounting (audit) and construction/EPC industry experience preferred.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS preferred.
- Expertise in Oracle NetSuite is a plus.
- Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally, up to 10%.
