Duties and Responsibilities
- Own the events strategy and roadmap, aligned to enterprise sales, corporate, and go-to-market priorities.
- Plan and execute end-to-end events including executive dinners, conferences, trade shows, partner events, corporate events, and ancillary events and experiences.
- Build, manage, and mentor a growing events team, setting clear priorities and ensuring consistent execution.
- Partner closely with Enterprise Sales to align events with account-based strategies and target accounts.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality corporate events that support company culture and internal engagement.
- Own the events budget, including forecasting, tracking, and optimization.
- Negotiate with vendors, venues, and partners to drive cost efficiency and savings across the marketing budget.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Success & Services, Marketing Operations, and People teams.
- Lead on-site execution for key events, ensuring a high-quality attendee and stakeholder experience.
- Define and track success metrics, reporting on event performance and insights to stakeholders
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate business goals into a focused event strategy.
- Proven experience managing and developing teams in a scaling environment.
- Deep understanding of enterprise sales motions and account-based marketing.
- Strong budget ownership and vendor negotiation skills.
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Calm, confident problem-solver, especially in live event environments.
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of experience managing B2B events, ideally within enterprise SaaS or high-growth technology companies.
- Experience owning an events strategy and budget.
- Proven experience partnering with Sales and senior marketing stakeholders.
- Experience leading or managing a growing team.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Experience delivering executive-level or C-suite events.
- Experience supporting enterprise or mid-market Sales teams.
- Experience delivering internal or corporate events.
