Primary Responsibilities:
  • Techno-Functional Leadership
    • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) across PeopleSoft FSCM modules (GL, AP, AR, AM, Lease Administration, etc.)
    • Lead end-to-end solution design combining functional requirements with technical architecture
    • Drive fit-gap analysis and recommend scalable solutions aligned with best practices
  • Solution Design & Delivery
    • Design and oversee:
      • Application customizations and enhancements
      • Integrations (inbound & outbound interfaces, APIs, flat files)
      • Workflow and approval processes
      • Reporting and analytics solutions
      • Ensure alignment with PeopleSoft best practices and enterprise standards
      • Lead code reviews, technical design validations, and architecture decisions
  • Business Partnership
    • Serve as a primary liaison for Finance, Accounting, Treasury, and Operations teams
    • Translate business requirements into technical and functional specifications
    • Partner with stakeholders to prioritize enhancements and resolve system issues
    • Provide advisory support for ERP initiatives and transformation programs
  • Production Support & Operations
    • Oversee production support including:
    • Incident management and root cause analysis
    • Data corrections and issue resolution
    • System performance monitoring
    • Ensure adherence to SLAs, audit controls, and compliance requirements
    • Maintain high system availability and reliability
  • Integration & Data Management
    • Lead design and execution of integrations with:
    • Banking interfaces (ACH, NACHA, Positive Pay)
    • External systems (Adaptive, ONIT, SMART, UDM, Tableau, etc.)
    • Ensure data integrity, reconciliation, and audit readiness
    • Support enterprise data strategy and modernization efforts
  • Governance, Risk & Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with:
      • SOX and audit requirements
      • Data retention and security policies
      • Support user access controls, approvals, and audit documentation
      • Align changes with enterprise change management processes
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship
    • Provide guidance to developers, analysts, and offshore teams
    • Review deliverables and ensure quality standards
    • Promote knowledge sharing and documentation across teams
  • Strategic & Future-State Initiatives
    • Support ERP roadmap initiatives including:
    • Modernization and cloud migration
    • Automation and AI initiatives
    • Process optimization and standardization
    • Drive continuous improvement and platform maturity
  • Documentation & Knowledge Management
    • Maintain SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and technical documentation.
    • Document recurring issues, fixes, and standard operating procedures to improve operational maturity
  • Provides leadership to and is accountable for the performance of managers and/or senior level professional staff
  • Impact of work is most often at the operational or local business unit or market level

Required Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of experience with PeopleSoft FSCM development and support
  • Experience with integrations, reporting, and batch processing
  • Solid PeopleTools knowledge (PeopleCode, App Engine, CI, App Designer)
  • Solid understanding of financial systems and ERP operations
  • Demonstrated ability to balance production support accountability with development deliverables
