Cloudflare's Enterprise Integrations Engineering Team designs, builds, and maintains integrations across a wide range of SaaS applications used throughout the organization. Our mission is to create scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems that ensure data flows securely and efficiently between platforms. With several high-impact projects always in motion, the ability to manage shifting priorities, communicate clearly, and collaborate effectively is essential.
Our team is highly collaborative, values continuous learning, and supports each other through shared ownership and open communication. We work closely with both technical and business teams, conduct regular retrospectives, and look for ways to improve how we build and deliver integrations.
What you'll do
You will build out and lead a team of talented engineers responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Cloudflare's internal integrations solutions. You will oversee the development of scalable, highly reliable integration infrastructure designed to facilitate organizational change as we scale. Your work will directly accelerate our sales velocity, customer support, and platform experience for our customers. You will play a key role in the next era of Cloudflare's growth ensuring our future initiatives are resilient, scalable, and future-proof.
Beyond the technical execution, you will focus on growing and mentoring a high-performing engineering team. You will set clear expectations, provide thoughtful leadership and feedback, and create an environment where engineers can thrive. Your ability to communicate effectively, manage priorities, and navigate a fast-paced environment will be critical in driving success.
Responsibilities
- Experience leading a team of senior engineers.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, driving alignment, and clearly creating and communicating technical direction for large cross-company efforts.
- Comfortable leading and hiring a team that builds the backend APIs and Integrations.
- Excel at planning, creating teams and overseeing execution to meet commitments and deliver with predictability.
- Comfortable building developer-loved APIs that scale.
- Demonstrate a track record of leading a team including hiring, on-boarding, and professional development.
- You inspire your team to reach higher.
- You're as good as explaining "why" as you are "how".
- Experience implementing tools, process, internal instrumentation, methodologies and resolving blockages.
- Comfortable managing teams/projections with tight deadlines and short release cycles.
Nice to Have
- Proficiency in Go
- Experience building RESTful APIs with proper service security practices
- Experience working with observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Sentry, or Kibana
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with GitLab or other CI/CD tools
Compensation
Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.
- For Colorado based hires: Estimated annual salary of $191,000 - $233,000
Equity
This role is eligible to participate in Cloudflare's equity plan.
