You will play a pivotal role in architecting, delivering, and operating backend services that process millions of messages and documents, and leverage AI to simplify workflows for thousands of global customers.

Being a Senior Manager of Engineering at iManage Means…
You will lead a high-performing engineering team in building and operating a scalable, reliable, and innovative cloud-based solution. This role requires a hands-on technical leader who thrives in a fast-paced SaaS environment, is passionate about innovation, and can balance strategic thinking with deep technical execution.
iM Responsible For…
- Leading a team of 10-12 engineers, with a mix of senior talent and emerging contributors, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented culture
- Architecting and developing scalable backend services using .NET, Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), Service Bus, Cosmo DB, Microsoft 365 Graph APIs and other cloud technologies
- Collaborating with product managers to analyze business requirements and design new features
- Navigating team dynamics with empathy and maturity, especially with highly experienced individual contributors
- Driving adoption of AI tools to enhance end user workflows and improve user experience
- Promoting engineering best practices including CI/CD, code reviews, design documentation, data driven decisions, and monitoring
- Developing and tracking OKRs aligned with iManage’s global mission
- Communicating and presenting technical plans and decisions effectively to both technical and business stakeholders
- Continuously learning and sharing knowledge across global teams, while staying informed of industry and technical trends to drive innovation at iManage
- A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 10+ years of experience building and running large scale software applications, with deep expertise in .NET, Azure, and cloud-native architecture
- Proven experience with Azure Kubernetes Services, Cosmo DB, Service Bus, and other cloud-scale technologies
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Graph APIs, Microsoft Exchange
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and build management within a Cloud/SaaS environment
- Strong design and architectural skills in distributed systems, fault-tolerant services, and secure data handling
- A hands-on approach to coding and problem solving, with a passion for staying technically sharp
- Extensive experience leading diverse teams and navigating complex dynamics with empathy and professionalism
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust across technical and non-technical audiences
- A growth mindset, high energy, and a desire to innovate and make a meaningful impact
- Experience with C++ will be an added advantage
