Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Management – Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive strategy for Engineering Systems that supports the strategic imperatives and objectives of the function. Define and own the systems roadmap.
- Transformation – Lead transformational opportunities that embrace innovation, drives continual service improvement and realizes measurable business value.
- Business engagement – Establish and maintain strong and productive relationships with the key business stakeholders to drive business value.
- End User Engagement – Establish and maintain intake mechanism for direct user feedback, including suggestions and issue escalations, for the global engineering population (~1000 users).
- Business Accountability – establish, maintain, report, and improve business-based KPIs with key engineering stakeholders to ensure value delivery
- Portfolio management – Manage the Engineering enterprise application portfolio to ensure current and future business requirements. Ensure opportunities are prioritized based on strategic alignment, total cost of ownership and risk. Actively assess the systems landscape for modernization, automation and rationalization.
- Center-Led Portfolio Management – Develop and manage processes to manage the lifecycle of citizen-developed applications and systems
- Operational excellence – Ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the enterprise applications following ITIL best practices. Implement and manage the development, deployment, maintenance and support of enterprise systems via Agile execution with defined KPI’s.
- Vendor management – Establish and maintain relationships with key strategic partners. Actively engage with sourcing and vendor management teams to strengthen our position when negotiating contracts.
- Risk and compliance – Ensure enterprise applications comply with all relevant laws, regulations and standards.
- Budget management – Develop and manage the budget for enterprise applications in coordination with the IT finance team.

- Technical expertise: In-depth knowledge of Engineering enterprise applications, such as Teamcenter, SAP PLM, Siemens NX, etc.
- Communication and collaboration: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate with executives, stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Ability to work closely with the CTO, CIO and CFO.
- Project and Product management: Strong project management skills, including experience with agile methodologies. Ability to lead product teams.

Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in IT, with at least five years in a leadership role managing enterprise applications.
- Experience implementing large-scale IT projects.
- Experience with PLM, CAD, CAE and other business-critical applications.
Preferred
- A master’s degree or MBA
