Our national Employment Taxes team within the KPMG Workforce Advisory business has experienced significant growth and is recruiting senior talent (manager through to director) to join our team in Perth.
We have a clear focus on providing value-add advisory and compliance service to a diverse client portfolio, delivering on a wide range of projects, from complex tax advice, payroll and superannuation reviews and tax managed services for some of Australia’s largest employers.
Your Opportunity
As a valued part of the Employment Tax team within our Tax & Legal division, this role will support in leadership and mentoring for junior team members, as well as delivering on advisory and compliance engagements for clients. In this role you will be:
- Consulting to Australia’s largest employers, both corporate and government, on their Fringe Benefit Tax, payroll tax, PAYG withholding and Superannuation Guarantee obligations.
- Helping to develop our employment tax compliance solutions including the use of data analytics and robotic process automation.
- Resolving disputes and investigations with tax authorities.
- Helping to grow our national network and shaping our future employment tax offerings.
- Working within our wider Workforce Advisory business, alongside a young and vibrant national team with a collaborative culture and strong growth mindset.
- Developing and growing external client and internal KPMG relationships.

Your Experience
To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience could include:
- Experience in executing tax compliance and advisory work for clients.
- Experience working on employment tax matters highly desirable.
- Strong experience with Excel and working with big data.
- Ability to undertake tax-technical research and problem solve.
- A commitment to client service with a proven track record of developing strong relationships with clients.

QualificationsA tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, Business, Finance, Economics, Law or a related discipline is required. A relevant professional qualification, such as CA, CPA, CTA or legal admission, is highly regarded.
