Senior Manager, Economic Development & Social Impact

ImpactAs the Senior Manager, Economic Development and Social Impact, you will be instrumental in paving the way for Shipt’s economic development and social impact strategy across our national markets. This role will help to steward our national community relationships across our key markets across the United States, with a specific focus on food advocacy and community engagement. You will steward critical relationships and operate as an advisor to our team and partners by creating and executing strategies in partnership with the VP, Economic Development and Social Impact and Senior Manager, Economic Development to drive change across our key communities.

• You easily build relationships within Shipt and alongside external community partners. 

• You enjoy navigating complex problems, building solutions and driving work forward by  creating thoughtful and detailed engagement strategies with a human touch.

• 6+ years of experience leading high-scope projects, working with cross-functional teams,with a proven ability to successfully execute a strategy

• 6+  years working with cross-functional teams, preference towards those with community and social impact, economic development, non-profit experience

•  Strong oral and written communication skills. 

• Strong sense of urgency, with proven ability to act swiftly under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and processes.

• You are willing and available to attend external events, sometimes after hours or on the weekend.

Work Arrangement

Shipt considers candidates located near a Shipt office or workspace in Birmingham, San Francisco, or Minneapolis to be hybrid, which means that they have the flexibility to work from home (with leader approval) or at a Shipt office in order to facilitate the ability to innovate, collaborate, and spark team connections. In-office expectations will vary by role and leader.  Certain roles may require in-office presence on a full-time basis. Employees will also be eligible to receive discretionary vacation for exempt team members, paid holidays throughout the calendar year and paid sick leave.  Other compensation includes eligibility for an annual bonus and the potential for restricted stock units based on role.

Pay Range:

$86,357-$172,715

All other locations:

$72,035-$143,964

Please note that the salary range above is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
