Your Opportunity at Arc’teryx:
As the Senior Manager, Ecommerce - Veilance, you are accountable for defining and advancing the global ecommerce strategy, standards, and experience across all regions. You play a critical role in shaping how Veilance shows up digitally ensuring a globally consistent, premium, system-led guest journey that drives both brand elevation and commercial performance. While not directly owning revenue targets, you enable ecommerce growth through strategic direction, experience optimization, and cross-regional alignment, with efforts impacting key levers including conversion, retention, and client lifetime value. You act as a global leader and integrator, setting direction, driving adoption, and influencing execution across all regions. Through strong cross-functional leadership and operational discipline, you ensure ecommerce is fully aligned with Veilance’s marketplace strategy and long-term brand ambition.
This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

The Global Marketplace team defines global distribution strategies, sets commercial frameworks, and enables regions to execute with consistency, discipline, and brand integrity to drive sustainable business expansion.
If you were the Senior Manager, Ecommerce - Veilance now, here are some of the core activities you could be doing:
1) Global Ecommerce Strategy & Standards – 30%
Owning the definition and global rollout of Veilance ecommerce strategy, frameworks, and standards.
- Defining global ecommerce vision, guiding principles, and experience standards
- Establishing clear “what good looks like” benchmarks across all digital touchpoints
- Leading global alignment and driving adoption across regions
- Acting as the primary point of accountability for ecommerce consistency and execution quality
- Identifying strategic gaps and proactively shaping roadmap, priorities, and improvements
2) Ecommerce Experience & Trade Leadership – 25%
Leading how Veilance shows up across ecommerce environments globally, ensuring premium execution, clear storytelling, and commercial effectiveness.
- Overseeing end-to-end experience strategy (entry points, Product Landing Page (PLP) , PLP, Product Description Page (PDP), storytelling, onboarding)
- Guiding global trade moments (seasonal launches, brand stories, commercial activations)
- Defining and evolving content, storytelling, and system-based selling principles
- Ensuring execution drives full-price performance, attachment, and depth, not just volume
- Partnering with regions to elevate consistency and execution discipline
3) End‑to‑End Ecommerce Guest Experience Optimization – 25%
Leading the ongoing evolution and optimization of the ecommerce guest experience, working cross‑functionally to improve quality and consistency.
- Defining and maintaining the end-to-end ecommerce experience framework
- Identifying friction points impacting conversion, perception, and retention
- Leading cross-functional alignment across Merchandising, Brand, Product, CX, and Regional teams
- Ensuring ecommerce experience reinforces premium positioning and long-term brand equity
- Driving improvements across the funnel, from entry to repeat purchase
4) Ecommerce Performance & Insights – 20%
Translating performance signals into actionable strategic direction.
- Owning global visibility on ecommerce performance across key metrics such as conversion optimization to retention, LTV, and client development
- Identifying risks, opportunities, and growth levers
- Translating analytics into clear recommendations and action plans
- Partnering with analytics teams to inform strategic decisions and experience evolution
- Balancing short-term performance with long-term brand health

- You have 8+ years of experience in ecommerce, digital, or marketplace roles within premium or design-led brands
- You have demonstrated experience defining strategy and driving adoption across complex, global, multi-region environments
- You have a deep understanding of the luxury market
- You have a clear understanding of how to digitally enhance a website to drive conversion and sell-through
- You have a proven ability to influence commercial performance indirectly through experience design, frameworks, and cross-functional alignment
- You demonstrate strong capability in leading cross-functional alignment and driving execution across multiple teams and geographies
- You are highly strategic while maintaining strong operational rigor, with the ability to translate vision into clear execution
- You have strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complexity into clear direction, tools, and actions
- You are comfortable operating in ambiguity, complexity, and evolving environments, and can bring clarity and structure when needed
- You have a strong analytical mindset and are able to translate data and guest behavior insights into clear recommendations and actions
- You are naturally collaborative, with a strong ability to influence stakeholders and lead through alignment rather than authority
Compensation
Most new team members join between the start and midpoint of the range, where you can contribute right away while continuing to grow your craft, your collaborations, and your impact at Arc’teryx. This range reflects market alignment and the scope of the role. Individual pay is determined by your skills, experience, and level of responsibility.

We design and manufacture a wide range of mountain sports outdoor apparel and equipment for all conditions and experiences, including mountaineering, ice and rock climbing, skiing, snowboarding, and trail running.
