Job Description
The Senior Manager of eCommerce must come from the eCommerce space and have a strong technical background in full digital commerce stack including but not limited to eCommerce engineers. Challenges will include an ongoing strategic technology expansion; Onboarding and Team building; Vendor Management; Ability to transition the existing team to industry standard Engineering, Agile & DevOps practices; Ability to transform from reactive to proactive approach; Ability to partner with the business in assessing needs and managing expectations for engineering build solutions for as is and to be states; Ability to partner with Business, Infrastructure and IS leads to support value-creating technology development and ensuring high quality and performance of production systems. Technology stack can be learned but, must have a record of success in operationalizing and supporting a world class ecommerce operation as part of delivery.
The ideal candidate for the Senior Manager of e-Commerce position is results-oriented, organized, and analytical. It requires a proactive person with the ability to problem solve - often on the fly. This person must be creative, pragmatic and focused with a strong delivery focus to rally teams for complex technical solutions delivery.
The Senior Manager of e-Commerce will interact and collaborate daily with an interdisciplinary team cutting across tech, and business departments.

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Advanced degree
- Minimum 5 years of management experience in application development
- Strong technical background in software development methodologies, programming languages, and application frameworks
- Experience with enterprise applications ("Systems") and business intelligence systems
- Proven leadership and people management skills, including recruiting, training, and mentoring
- Strong project management skills, including prioritization, resource allocation, and budget management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement
- Solid understanding of IT governance, compliance, and security standards
- Experience managing vendors, contracts, and SLAs
