E2E TEST STRATEGY AND EXECUTION LEAD, SR. MANAGER

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: E2E Test strategy and Execution Lead for Enterprise Performance Management (EPM)

DELIVERABLES:

TEST STRATEGY

  • Design E2E Test strategy for implementation of EPM (Anaplan, SAP BW On Hana, Reporting AFO and SCA).

  • Lead the alignment of E2E Test strategy with EPM Business and Technical Product Owners, boundary Product teams, Chapter Leads of EPM transformation (e.g. Cutover Lead, Build Lead, PMO), other Transformation Programs that have interdependencies with EPM Transformation.

  • Define and align test automation strategy and execution.

  • Incorporate AI-driven test design & risk-based regression insights. Use approved GenAI tools to auto‑draft test scenarios from requirements and perform AI‑assisted impact analysis to identify high‑risk regression areas, aligned with enterprise Responsible AI and governance guidelines.

  • Lead continuous improvement of E2E test strategy based on lessons learned from EPM releases.

 

TEST EXECUTION

  • Establish strong governance for planning, preparation and coordination of execution of test cycles for EPM (all test cycles including FIT, BST, UAT, regression and performance testing);

  • Ensure accurate and compliant reporting of test planning and execution in JIRA;

  • Build strong governance for communication to testers of solution readiness for test execution;

  • Lead the development and operations of automated testing in Anaplan.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate testing/cutover progress, flag and mitigate the risks for Go live;

  • Define and drive the implementation of test automation frameworks and tools to accelerate and speed up testing / deployment.

  • Leverage GenAI to accelerate test execution activities. Use GenAI to draft test steps, summarize defects, cluster duplicates, and generate cycle-level execution reports—while keeping humans in the loop for final validation.

  • Enable AI-assisted communication & reporting using approved platforms. Generate meeting notes, test progress summaries, and executive updates through sanctioned AI tools only, complying with transcript and GenAI acceptable‑use policies.

  • Ensure all testing activities adhere to industry best practices and quality standards;

  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:

  • 7+ years of experience in Test strategy and execution coordination Manager/Sr. Manager roles for Anaplan, SAP S/4H or/and SAP ECC implementation in Global organizations.

  • 7+ years of experience with test coordination for Finance processes (preferably for EPM);

  • 2+ years of experience with test automation, proven track record with successful test automation implementation;

  • Proficiency in test planning, execution, and defect tracking tools like JIRA/X-Ray;

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate testing-related risks and issues;

  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, and advanced presentation skills;

  • Experienced in developing SDLC documentation. Values and understands the importance of documentation and knowledge management.

  • Familiarity with AI governance & compliance frameworks including model drift awareness, data sensitivity handling, and working within regulated/controlled environments following internal AI‑ML/GenAI guidelines.
