We are seeking a dynamic Senior Manager / Director of IT Operations & Infrastructure (based in Finland) to play a pivotal role in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of our IT operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our technology infrastructure to support our business growth and enhance service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Service Desk Management: Own the management and development of the IT Service Desk service, ensuring high-quality support and continuous improvement.
  • IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the cost-efficient management and development of the IT infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of six IT specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Business Continuity: Ensure business continuity for critical IT services and infrastructure by maintaining comprehensive documentation for key systems and processes.
  • IT Compliance: Manage and plan IT compliance activities in close collaboration with the Information Security & Compliance team.
  • Strategic IT Planning: Develop and implement IT strategies that align with our organizational objectives, ensuring that our IT infrastructure is robust, secure, and scalable.
  • Budget Management: Manage IT budgets, establish policies and procedures, and oversee the deployment of new technologies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the IT team, inspiring innovation and optimization of IT services.


Requirements
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Significant experience in IT operations management, including infrastructure, application support, and service delivery.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing IT budgets and leading teams through change.
  • Strong knowledge of IT best practices, security protocols, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud technologies, virtualization, and data center management.
  • Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
  • Knowledge of software development processes and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with information management and document management solutions, particularly related to M-Files.
