Position Responsibilities:

Sales & Client Management

  • To implement Distribution strategies for life products to meet/exceed the sales objective of the Bancassurance partnership

  • Explore business opportunities with the franchise, execution of new business propositions & contribute to product & process feedback & development

  • To support District Director (DD) to grow their Bancassurance Business

  • To ensure things are done ethically & in accordance to regulatory compliance

  • Training & event management including coaching of RMs & tracking of event activities, pipelines & closures

  • To conduct training & seminars for offshore customers

  • To understand external needs & internal constraints to negotiate a win-win scenario for both parties

Sales KPI

  • To mirror the sales KPI of markets that are assigned

  • To identify opportunities & drive initiatives together with DD that uplift productivity

  • Improve inception ratio, and work with District on follow throughs for requirements

  • Upskilling of all sales representatives to ensure they are able to uncover needs

Day to Day Business Activities

  • Pipeline tracking & management and support DD to run Banca business.

  • Special handling of exceptional cases

Engagements & Huddles

  • Branch presence and deepen engagement

  • Minimally all teams must be engaged once biweekly

  • Ensure adequate coverage and support across all teams in their Bancassurance needs

Conduct Coaching & Trainings For All Sales Representatives  including but not limited to

  • Product Proposition

  • Objection handling

  • Business Processes

  • Underwriting Knowledge

Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma / Degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience with successful track records

  • Prior Bancassurance experience preferred

  • Ability to make presentations

  • Willing to travel within Southeast Asia once a quarter

  • CMFAS certification Module 5, 8, 8A, 9, 9A & HI (Mandatory)

  • Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving, communication (written and verbal), presentation, and relationship management skills; with a high degree of tact.

  • Proven ability to conduct research/analysis, organize findings and build presentation decks.

  • Ability to forge collaborative working relationships with various stakeholders within Manulife Singapore and with our distribution partner.
