Job Description

This role is based at our Corporate Office in Menomonee Falls, WI. You’ll work onsite from Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.

About the Role

In this role, you will drive and lead creative digital content in partnership with digital merchandising, brand creative, technical teams,  and strategy. You will act as the primary liaison for the Digital Creative strategy, ensuring excellence, consistency and quality of design are maintained throughout the process.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Digital Creative strategy by partnering and collaborating with the Content Digital Design team to ensure day-to-day creative delivers on campaign direction with clarity and impact

  • Collaborate with Kohls.com business, brand creative, product design and technical teams to lead digital wire frames, design and build of promotional digital customer experiences

  • Enhance category vision and strategies in partnership with creative leadership

  • Establish strategic and timely decision-making across priorities and stakeholders

  • Serve as the main point of contact for external resources to ensure campaigns work correctly within the Kohls.com architecture and software

  • Partner with external e-mail vendor to develop new e-mail marketing techniques to drive improved click-through rates and overall sales for both stores and Kohls.com

  • Utilize deep knowledge of creative development processes to continue to be at the forefront of innovative design trends and technologies

  • Drive strategy by following market developments and customer insights and prepare for opportunities to support senior leadership decision-making

  • Manage and influence direct reports, systems and projects to achieve unit goals per Kohl’s policies and practices

  • Additional tasks may be assigned 

What Skills You Have

Required

  • 8+ years of experience in digital creative leadership or related experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field

  • Some knowledge in modern web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, and of native iOS/Android apps

  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools within Figma, Miro, and Adobe Creative Suite

  • Perform work in accordance with the Physical/Cognitive Requirements section

Physical/Cognitive Requirements 

  • Ability to use a personal computer for tasks such as communicating, preparing reports, etc.

  • Ability to plan, prioritize and monitor activities across business units

  • Ability to complete or oversee the completion of assigned projects in a timely manner

  • Ability to comply with health and safety standards
