Job Description

Rockwell Automation is hiring!

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Digital Consulting to join us.

Based in Australia, you will be a Platform Leader to drive the strategy and execution of our consulting services within heavy industries such as Mining and/or Food & Beverage.

You will lead business development efforts, provide top-tier consulting solutions, and drive capability development to ensure our clients achieve transformative business results.

Your Responsibilities:

Consulting Services Delivery:

  • Oversee and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality consulting engagements that meet and exceed client expectations.
  • Provide strategic guidance to clients, leveraging industry or domain expertise to help them achieve their business goals.
  • Mentor managers and senior consultants, and lead project teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive portfolio health across quality, utilization, and margin.

2. Capability Development:

  • Drive the development and enhancement of consulting capabilities within your platform area, ensuring our team stays ahead of industry trends and maintains a competitive edge.
  • Shape solution approaches, standards, and reusable assets across teams.
  • Develop and deliver training programs, best practices, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to build the skills and expertise of our consultants.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new tools, methodologies, and technologies that enhance our consulting offerings.

3. Business Development:

  • Lead and drive business development initiatives to expand our client base and grow revenue within the designated platform area.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities, develop client relationships, and create tailored proposals that showcase our value proposition.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align on go-to-market strategies and ensure seamless execution of business development plans.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • 12 years of consulting experience,
    • 3 to 5 years in a leadership or management role
    • 6+ years of experience manufacturing operations, with a strong focus on automation and controls
  • Familiarity with ISA-95 and ISA-88 standards for manufacturing systems integration
  • Travel can vary but may be up to 50%
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • MBA or other advanced degre·
  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) frameworks
  • Hands-on experience with asset management and predictive/preventive maintenance strategies
  • Knowledge of OT data management, including data historians, edge computing, and integration with IT systems
