The Opportunity

The Senior Manager, Demand Partnerships is a key member of the APAC Strategy and Operations team, reporting to the APAC Director. The role is responsible for managing and growing relationships with DSP’s and other demand partners across APAC. The role has a focus of evangelizing Kargo and our products within DSP partners and driving preferred partner status. They work closely with both inventory partnerships and client service teams within the DSP to ensure Kargo is prioritised and to provide great service.  Additionally, the Demand Partnerships Manager partners with Kargo sales to drive revenue from DSP’s as well as agency trading desks.  They are an expert in programmatic trading, including data onboarding and activation.

The Daily To-Do

  • DSP Management
    • DSP Management - manage ongoing relationship with key DSP's across APAC
    • Business development to identify new advertisers to Kargo
    • Deliver a regional focus and plan across APAC markets to ensure Kargo is represented with all key DSP’s
    • Lead Kargo’s response for DSP SPO initiatives, and related RFP responses
    • Identify and document DSP best practice 
    • Always on deal creation and Open revenue growth
    • Partner with Demand Partnerships in the US
  • Data Partnerships
    • Expert in data activation and strategy
    • Review Kargo’s data offering in APAC
    • Working with local data partners to onboard and activate 3P data
    • Partner with US Data Partnerships team to ensure APAC has access to required data and platform partners
  •  Internal Education and Awareness
    • Focused plan of training for the APAC team on Programmatic
    • Local SME for programmatic landscape and how buying behaviour and requirements are changing
    • Leverage your DSP knowledge to inform our brief response
    • Highlight the opportunity of programmatic and how it can enhance campaign performance for the right campaign
    • Work with APAC leadership and Product to ensure our offering matches market needs
  • Sales & CSM Support
    • Expert in programmatic nuances for all of Kargo’s products
    • Partner with Head of CSM to localise all programmatic collateral
    • Partner with sales and operations to be present on any brainstorming or external meetings with nuanced programmatic campaigns/initiatives
    • Assume responsibility of local programmatic expert, including data analysis and general internal support
    • Be the first responder to any technical issues or discrepancies presented by the CM/CSM team

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in a client-facing role for a media, startup, tech, or digital company
  • Experience with direct and programmatic workflow
  • Understands the workflow of campaign management
  • Familiar with DSP, SSP, and other AdTech platforms
  • Extremely proactive. Self-starter who seeks out opportunities to enhance contribution to the company
  • An analytical approach to problem-solving and technical troubleshooting
  • Proven record of successful client retention and business growth
  • Sees the big picture- highly strategic, creative, and solution-oriented
  • Thrives in a team environment, challenges, and inspires others
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize based on account tier and urgency daily.
  • Effective and efficient at working with remote teams
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written skills and proven ability to develop well-positioned and thoughtful documents and presentations. Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Natural ability to communicate with all levels of the org. We need someone who can easily connect with execs at the top and individual contributors on the ground level
  • Experience with a variety of reporting systems including Salesforce, Looker, DMPs, etc.
  • Experience with Ad Serving and Programmatic Platforms
