What will you be doing

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Operations Manager to support data management, reporting, and process optimization. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, efficiency, and timely delivery of client deliverables.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain data pipelines, databases, and reporting systems
• Extract, clean, and transform data using SQL and Python
• Develop and maintain automated reports
• Collaborate with business teams to understand data requirements
• Improve data quality and implement data validation processes
• Use VBA to automate manual tasks and improve operational efficiency
• Document data processes and ensure compliance with internal standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Computer Science, or related fields
• 5+ years of experience in data operations, data analysis, or similar role
• Strong proficiency in:
• SQL (data extraction and manipulation)
• Python (data processing and analysis)
• VBA (automation and Excel-based solutions)
• Experience working with large datasets and relational databases
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams

Language Requirements

• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Business-level Japanese (written and spoken)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with any AI tools to write codes
• Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks
• Experience working in multinational teams
