Builds technology platforms to enable the ingestion and mining of social media data to derive business insights that transform and enhance Fidelity’s customer experience. Utilizes statistical analysis and provides data-driven recommendations that enable senior leaders to make strategic business decisions. Acts as a liaison amongst various teams, such as Senior Leadership, DevOps, Artificial Intelligence, Platform Engineering, Architecture and User Interface. Uses Natural Language Processing and AI algorithms to collect, standardize, classify, prioritize, report and measure from social platforms.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Uses statistical methods, tools and platforms to drive the gathering, analysis, and reporting of critical social media data.
- Uses data to derive key business insights to develop revenue growth and costs savings measures for the firm.
- Gathers end user feedback to plan for future enhancements.
- Converts requirements into a list of tasks and follows up with the technical team until the tasks are completed.
- Delivers insights on any social media related events.
- Conducts upskilling sessions for fellow colleagues from the analytical domain on a variety of topics.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience as a Senior Manager, Data Analytics and Insights (or closely related occupation) using R, SQL, Python and Tableau to mine social media data and derive analytics and insights that support data-driven, strategic business decisions.
Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Manager, Data Analytics and Insights (or closely related occupation) using R, SQL, Python and Tableau to mine social media data and derive analytics and insights that support data-driven, strategic business decisions.
Skills and Knowledge:
Candidate must also possess:
- Demonstrated Expertise ("DE") providing analytical insights from social media data using statistical techniques -- regression, key driver analytics and forecasting under SQL, R and Python environments.
- DE collaborating with business stakeholders and analysts to understand business and marketing questions related to social media content performance, social media conversation from target audiences -- customers and prospects and social media trends; and utilizing gathered requirements to act as an analytics and data subject matter expert to develop analytical solutions, frameworks and roadmaps to package business, market and social intelligence to key stakeholders helping drive marketing and business KPIs and decisions.
- DE building, and maintaining AI/ML models -- classification models and time series promotional response models to analyze social media conversation sentiment and topics, and also predict audience responses to social media promotional content based on statistical analyses -- regression, causality testing and K-means clustering; and interpreting model output and responses, and package analysis and insights to key stakeholders to drive decisions related to content themes, promotional tactics to drive marketing KPIs and outcomes.
- DE performing data standardization, transformation and stacking of raw data (customer, behavioral, and geographic) fetched from native and 3rd party digital and social platforms into cloud platforms -- AWS/Snowflake/Google Cloud; and creating advanced visualization modules, and automating dashboards using Tableau, Power BI and Qlik.
