The HubSpot Marketing Team is looking for an innovative and experienced Senior Manager to lead the Customer Demand Email Team.
HubSpot’s suite of products and our customer base are rapidly expanding, but our go-to-market today relies too heavily on humans to identify opportunities for customers to upgrade and find new products. We’re missing opportunities for customers who are finding success with HubSpot to expand their use of our products and grow their business. That’s where email automation comes in.
Today, our email programs are effective at driving demand for customers who express a high degree of intent or interest in additional HubSpot products. But we have so much opportunity to drive acceleration and innovation.
In this role, you’ll manage a team of marketers building customer-facing demand automation to innovate on a more dynamic, proactive approach to customer sales. You’ll collaborate with teams across Sales, Customer Success, Product and Marketing to create a cohesive and effective experience for customers throughout their lifecycle.
Our ambition is huge, new technologies are unlocking the opportunity not just to double or triple our impact, but to 10x the value we’re providing to our customers and HubSpot.
You’ll get to:
- Manage a team of world-class marketers who are passionate about driving impact and HubSpot’s customers. The team you would manage consists of five direct reports
- Own the demand email automation strategy for customers, solving for unique needs across all industries, company sizes, and CRM experience
- Guide the team in innovating and building new programing, and optimizing existing programming through thoughtful, customer-focused experimentation
- Empower the team to use emerging technologies like data science and AI (like voice, video, and creation of deeply personalized resources) to build the next frontier of marketing automation
- Be the primary owner of the wider marketing-driven customer demand engine at HubSpot, building perspective and collaborating with key stakeholders across Sales, Customer Success, Product, Operations and Marketing
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has 3+ years experience managing high-performing teams
- Has 3+ years experience building strategy for marketing demand automation and has owned a demand-related goal
- Has demonstrated the ability to build and innovate - ideating and executing on “big swings” and long-term strategy that create exponential impact.
- Is obsessed with the customer and understanding their pain points and needs
- Is invested in building cultures and careers, with a strong commitment to DEI&B
- Embodies HubSpot’s HEART values—Humble, Empathetic, Adaptable, Remarkable, and Transparent
- Has a strong strong growth mindset, excels at adapting in a fast-paced changing environment and working through ambiguity
- Excels at working cross-functionally, including with customer-facing and technical teams, to align goals, set roadmaps, communicate updates, and drive forward customer-first solutions
- Excels at analyzing data and creating and presenting a narrative around it
- Has superior communication skills for all levels of the business
It’s a bonus if you have:
- Experience in customer-facing or sales roles
- Experience building automation for SMBs or customer-specific demand
- Experience with using AI and data science in marketing programming
Cash compensation range: 144000-216000 USD Annually
