About the role

As the Senior Manager, Curation (Europe), you will lead the strategy and execution of Content Curation across the main European markets. You will shape how fans discover and engage with content across Crunchyroll's most visible surfaces, balancing strong editorial judgement with disciplined use of performance data.

You will define regional frameworks, align cross-departmental teams, and mentor Curation talent to deliver experiences that are locally relevant, globally consistent, and commercially effective. Success requires strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and influence across Product, Programming, Marketing, Growth, and regional stakeholders.

In the role of Senior Manager, Curation (Europe), you will report to the Director, Curation.

Core Areas of Responsibility
  • Oversee the end-to-end curation strategy and execution for Europe, aligning regional and global priorities at scale.
  • Develop curation frameworks that grow engagement, retention, and conversion.
  • Use analytics and experimentation to continuously optimize key screens and discovery surfaces.
  • Partner cross-departmentally to support launches, Growth campaigns, Flywheel initiatives, and seasonal moments.
  • Lead and mentor regional Curation talent, promoting strong editorial judgment and consistency across the EU team.
  • Provide data-informed thought leadership on content presentation and positioning.
  • Translate performance insights into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Contribute strategic input to the evolution of Curation tools, workflows, and product features.
About You

  • 5+ years of people management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of streaming platforms, consumption behaviours, and video business models in Europe.
  • Experience optimising retention and discovery across digital platforms.
  • Experience translating data into actionable content decisions.
  • Strong editorial judgement and deep understanding of digital merchandising principles.
  • Hands-on experience with content management systems.
  • Demonstrated success working cross-departmentally across regions and time zones.

By building immersive discovery experiences across Crunchyroll, we help drive engagement, conversion, retention, and deeper fandom. We partner with Product, Analytics, GTM, Localization, and Lifecycle teams, turning strategy into real-time execution, and ensuring the right content reaches the right fans at the right moment.
