- Define our credit policy, exposure limits, and risk‑based pricing frameworks for both installment and revolving products.
- Identify, vet, and integrate third‑party data sources (banking, accounting, alternative data, KYC/KYB, fraud signals).
- Build and iterate automated decision engines; set score‑card cutoffs, override rules, and second‑look paths.
- Lead complex manual underwrites on higher‑risk or higher‑exposure deals; coach analysts on financial‑statement analysis and covenant structuring.
- Develop early‑warning and portfolio‑monitoring dashboards; partner with Collections on triggers and loss‑mitigation tactics.
- Collaborate with Product & Engineering to embed credit logic into our platform and ensure flawless customer experience.
- Stay ahead of regulatory guidance (UDAAP, ECOA, fair lending) and align policies accordingly.
You have...
- 7 - 10 years of experience in credit risk underwriting strategy for SMB and/or mid‑market lending, card, or BNPL platforms.
- Experience using analytical tools like SQL, Python, R or similar.
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
