Overall Purpose 

The Sr. Marketing Manager, Corporate Reputation position will support business initiatives through the strategic management of thought leadership initiatives focused on company reputation. Instrumental in strategy and driving marketing team goals to include enterprise-wide thought leadership programs, event amplification strategy, partnerships, and campaign execution. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives on both strategy and execution, managing complex initiatives individually while collaborating across teams. 

 

Essential Functions 

  • Develops enterprise-wide narratives and messages, ensuring alignment with overarching marketing goals, in partnership with Senior Director, Corporate Reputation Marketing and other key stakeholders across the organization. 

  • Identifies new, bold strategies and leads initiatives that showcase the company’s expertise, insights, innovations, and impact, including strategic reputation and thought leadership materials, campaigns, and partnerships, industry collaborations, and external engagements, ensuring alignment with company objectives and industry trends. 

  • Owns thought leadership calendar and the creation and distribution of engaging corporate thought leadership content such as articles, blogs, videos, podcasts, and social media posts for EWS and for executives, when needed. 

  • Builds a strategy that maximizes the value of thought leadership content as well as corporate-sponsored and led events, creating toolkits or templates to streamline thought leadership content production and identifying opportunities for pre-event, live-event, and post-event content creation (e.g., articles, social media, videos, recaps) and amplification. 

  • Works with Senior Director, Corporate Reputation Marketing and other key stakeholders across the organization to build and execute the pilot thought leadership program for executives, developing scalable content strategies and frameworks for future expansion. 

  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with a diverse set of internal and external partner constituencies including marketing teams, legal, finance, product, sales and executive leadership.  

  • Analyzes insights/trends in and outside of the financial industry as well as keep up to date on marketing best practices.  

  • Reviews the effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis and advises on how to optimize accordingly.  

  • Supports the company’s commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.  

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Education and/or experience typically obtained through completion of a bachelor's degree.  

  • A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive direct/ related experience .

  • Demonstrated prior marketing experience.  

  • Excellent writing, messaging, editing, and strategic storytelling skills - with the ability to write in different voices.

  • Ability to engage with and influence key stakeholders. 

  • Comfortable working across functions and balancing multiple priorities in a faced-paced environment 

  • A marketing generalist mindset – someone who thrives on wearing multiple hats and executing across different disciplines. 

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity in a new role with an evolving scope and able to bring a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset to the role.  

  • Ability to handle multiple complex projects, work independently, provide timely, clear follow-up communications, and meet tight deadlines for deliverables.  

  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills to interact proficiently with all levels of management, staff and vendors.  

  • Strong project management skills.  

  • Highly engaged, self-starter with ability to balance achieving results and fostering collaboration.  

  • Background and drug screen.  

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Previous experience managing relationships with varying levels of seniority, creating successful marketing programs and go-to-market strategies for partnerships, campaigns and enterprise initiatives.  

  • Financial services or fintech marketing experience a plus.  

  • Experience analyzing data.  

  • Superior copywriting and presentation skills.  

 

Physical Requirements 

Working conditions consist of a normal office environment.  Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours.  Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching.  Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently.  Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers.  Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers.

The base pay scale for this position in:
New York, NY in USD per year is: $140,000 - $160,000.
Additionally, candidates are eligible for a discretionary incentive plan and benefits.
