[What the role is]
The Senior Manager (Corporate) develops and scales up sustainable and effective programmes to enhance impact and benefits to residents residing within North West District and CDC's other stakeholders.The role connects corporates, community partners and volunteers to serve the varied needs of residents and beneficiaries, creating a multiplier effect and a culture of giving back.
Working across partnership and outreach functions, the role advances North West CDC's vision of building a caring and healthy North West community.
[What you will be working on]
Partnership Development and Outreach: Build, strengthen, and diversify relationships with schools, corporate organisations, and community partners to expand the reach and impact of North West CDC's programmes, using data-driven approaches to identify and engage partners effectively.
Community Programme Development: Lead and guide a team of Managers/Assistant Managers and Executives to work closely with North West CDC's Council Members to conceptualise, plan and implement community programmes. These include a range of initiatives such as fundraising events, ground-up projects, youth groups, interfaith dialogues, and food distribution drives, to address the varied needs of residents and beneficiaries.
Strategic Planning Support: Support the Deputy General Manager and Assistant Director in developing partnership and outreach strategies aligned with the CDC's objectives and community needs, contributing to annual workplans and project papers for Council approval.
Team and Operations Management: Supervise and guide Managers/Assistant Managers and executives to deliver projects within budget, comply with procurement guidelines, mitigate project risks, ensure proper audit documentation, and fulfill agreed targets.
Reporting and Records Management: Supervise staff to ensure timely submission of progress reports for monthly staff meeting, Mayor's meeting, and quarterly Council meetings. Oversee the team submission of the partnership database and GEVME to support accurate reporting and planning
People Management: Manage staff administrative matters such as performance appraisals, leave and support the professional development of the team.

Other Ad-Hoc Duties: Assist and participate in cross-PA divisions and CDC programmes and initiatives. Perform any other duties as assigned by the General Manager, Deputy General Manager, or Assistant Director.
What we are looking for
Experience:
At least 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in community engagement, partnership development, or programme management.
Skills:
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, good project management and organisational abilities;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel),
- Familiarity with data management tools and reporting systems.
- Experience working with grassroots organisations, social service agencies or community partners;
- Familiarity with government procurement processes and financial governance.
Skills Required
