The Role

Join the adMarketplace Finance Team in this new role to support the consolidation and analysis of financial results, influence strategic investment decisions, and provide valuable insights to senior leadership about the company's financial trajectory. You will collaborate closely with the leaders of our corporate functions (Product & Technology, Marketing, G&A) on resource allocation.

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive department-level and consolidated budget & re-forecasting processes to ensure alignment with operating plan and overall financial targets
  • Lead the production and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L reports, highlighting key trends and variances, as well as recommended courses of action
  • Headcount planning and analysis: partner with the People Team to create and execute hiring plans by department
  • Create & execute cost allocation management and frameworks that results in more useful reporting and insights into our operating expenses
  • Drive the development of financial reporting capabilities, including ownership of financial planning system(s) and the scalability of our reporting processes
  • Manage and coach junior members on the team; own cross-functional Finance team processes on an ad hoc basis

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of FP&A experience at a B2B company in a tech or tech-enabled business
  • Experience with budgeting and forecasting operating expenses, especially headcount-related expenses, e.g compensation and benefits
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience with managing software development costs and R&D capitalization
  • Substantial expertise in reporting automation, dashboard creation, and KPI management
  • Ability to build trust and strong relationships with senior leaders of corporate functions
  • Ability to visualize data and form business narratives
  • Must be self-starter who responds quickly to requests and juggles multiple tasks
  • Must have maturity to handle extremely sensitive and confidential information
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting

Would Be Awesome:

  • Working knowledge of pay-per-click advertising or digital advertising in general
  • Experience in high-growth operating environments
  • Experience with Sage Intacct and various FP&A tools


*Compensation Range: $130,000 - $170,000

Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience; training; associated responsibilities; and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
