As Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting & Expense Operations, you’ll bring the discipline and leadership of a mature organization while helping build scalable processes, strengthen accountability, and create more efficient ways of working across accounting operations, procurement, AP, and AR.

About the Role
- Lead core accounting operations across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, General Ledger activities, and reconciliations, ensuring accurate and timely financial operations.
- Safeguard financial health and integrity by monitoring key financial metrics, identifying emerging risks and trends, and providing timely insights to the Controller and senior leadership.
- Lead and develop the accounting operations team, providing coaching, mentorship, and clear direction while ensuring priorities and deliverables are effectively managed.
- Strengthen AP, AR, and procurement processes as the organization grows, balancing strong financial governance with efficient, scalable ways of working.
- Drive process improvement and automation, identifying opportunities to streamline accounting workflows, enhance systems, and improve data integrity and operational efficiency.
- Partner across Finance and the broader organization, working closely with the Controller, Senior Manager of Treasury & Tax, Senior Director of FP&A, Procurement, and business leaders to support financial and operational priorities.
- Provide meaningful financial analysis and reporting to the Executive Team, Senior Leadership Team, Product Line Owners, and other stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with business stakeholders, sponsors, and vendors, serving as a trusted partner through effective communication, responsiveness, and a customer-focused approach.
What we're looking for
- 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or a related function, including prior leadership experience in a more mature or established organization.
- Demonstrated leadership of expense operations and procurement, with strong practical understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, procurement processes, and financial controls.
- Proven people leadership experience, with a track record of building accountable, high-performing teams and establishing clear ownership, priorities, and ways of working.
- Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with internal business stakeholders, sponsors, and external vendors. Proven track record of fostering collaborative partnerships, influencing across functions, and delivering a high level of service to support operational and strategic objectives.
- Experience building and scaling processes in a growing organization, with a strong appetite for creating structure while remaining adaptable as business needs evolve.
- Continuous improvement mindset, with demonstrated success identifying efficiencies, streamlining workflows, leveraging technology or automation, and improving the effectiveness of financial operations.
- Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to translate financial information into practical insights and partner effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline required; CPA designation and/or equivalent combination of education and experience considered an asset. Fluent English communication skills required.

What We Do
From 1986 to 2020 we operated as Robarts Clinical Trials and built a strong foundation in the medical research community. In 2020, we became Alimentiv but retained our commitment to clinical trials, medical imaging, and precision medicine for GI-related ailments.
