Are you passionate about helping Allegro improve conversion of each customer visit, and directly contribute to the platform GMV growth? Join our team as a Senior Manager, Conversion Optimization.

In this role, you will be responsible for

  • Single-threaded Conversion leadership: Be the company wide Conversion owner - it is one of the key input metrics driving our GMV, so a very important KPI for the organization

  • Identify improvement opportunities: Identify conversion blockers / improvement opportunities for the whole platform (both product and non-product opportunities) by working with various cross-functional teams (Marketing, Technology, Commerce, Campaigns etc.). Identify targeted opportunities for specific categories, channels (app, desktop, web) and traffic sources. 

  • Implement improvement programs: Prioritize among potential conversion improvement opportunities, and build alignment with different cross-functional teams who own respective initiatives. Implement the initiatives via structured and regular Value Creation Programs

  • Data-Driven Forecasting and Budgeting: Utilize historical data, current trends, and predictive analytics to forecast future conversion trends, and develop a Conversion Alerting System (working with Analytics team). This will aid in making informed decisions and preparing for market shifts. This role will play a focal role in forecasting conversion for annual budgeting but also for specific trade plan events e.g. smart week, black week, X-mas, etc. 

  • Support Product Decisions: Work closely with our Product and Tech teams, ensuring that any new feature launches have a positive impact on conversion. Assess the impact of feature launches on conversion at overall level, as well as by channel, customer segment etc.

  • Category-Level Conversion Management: Analyze conversion specific to each product category. Tailor strategies to match category needs, ensuring targeted conversion improvements for each category.

We are looking for people who have

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to conceptualize and implement overarching conversion improvement strategies that align with business goals and the dynamic e-commerce market.

  • Analytical Skills: Capable of analyzing vast amounts of data to extract meaningful insights and make important business decisions. Proficiency in a range of analytical tools including Google Sheets, Google Studio, Turnilo, and Tableau for data analysis and visualization. General knowledge of Big Query is a plus.

  • Functional knowledge: Familiarity with e-commerce platforms is a plus.. Previous experience managing conversion improvement programs is a plus. Experience of working with product / tech teams is also a plus.

  • Competitive Analysis: Ability to assess the market, identify competitors' strategies, and benchmark our performance to stay ahead.

  • Communication Skills: Capable of clearly conveying strategies, insights, and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Knowledge of English (C1 level) is required.

  • Collaboration: Ability to work seamlessly with various departments, from marketing and commerce to product/tech teams, ensuring aligned and synergistic strategies
