Senior Manager, Content Strategy

We are looking for a Senior Manager of Content Strategy to join our Enterprise Talent Marketing & Partnership team. The ideal candidate is a strategic and creative content professional with a passion for connecting top talent with opportunity through compelling storytelling. With a strong foundation in content marketing and SEO, they will develop and execute content strategies that elevate Fidelity’s employer brand, support talent acquisition goals, and resonate with key candidate personas. This role requires a deep understanding of audience behavior, and digital trends to craft engaging content across our career site, social media, email campaigns, and more. The candidate will manage external partners and collaborate closely with the segment marketing team to ensure consistent, high-quality content delivery that drives measurable impact.

The Expertise We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years of experience in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Content Strategist or similar role.

  • Strong understanding of content marketing principles and SEO.

  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

  • Ability to think creatively and strategically.

  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and analytics tools.

  • Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

The Skills You Bring:

  • Develop and implement content strategies that align with business objectives and target audience needs.

  • Conduct thorough research to understand market trends, audience preferences, and competitive landscape.

  • Create and manage editorial calendars to ensure timely delivery of content across various platforms.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and product, to produce high-quality content.

  • Optimize content for SEO and ensure it adheres to best practices.

  • Analyze content performance using analytics tools and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance content strategies.

  • Oversee and nurture relationships with external vendors and content partners, ensuring alignment with brand standards, timely deliverables, and cost-effective solutions.

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

The Enterprise Talent Marketing & Partnership team drives Fidelity’s employer brand and how we communicate to prospective Fidelity employees via multiple channels including our events, programs, careers website, recruitment advertising and recruiting social media channels @FidelityJobs. You will be a critical player in ensuring an efficient and engaging candidate experience.
