Position Overview:

The Senior Manager, Content & Campaigns is responsible for architecting Blue Trust’s integrated campaign strategy and overseeing the firm’s full content ecosystem across internal and external channels.  

This role leads campaign sequencing, content planning, and production oversight to ensure messaging, assets, and channels align with firm strategy and measurable business impact. The Senior Manager defines and governs Blue Trust’s enterprise content standards, campaign planning framework, and messaging architecture, establishing consistency across divisions, channels, and executive communications.

Serving as the narrative and campaign authority within the Marketing team, this role ensures that editorial, social, digital, and experiential efforts operate within a cohesive narrative structure.

The Senior Manager partners with internal stakeholders, external agencies, and freelance partners to translate strategy into coordinated execution across email, web, social, events, and executive communications.

Principal Accountabilities:

Campaign Strategy & Architecture

  • Develop and maintain the annual and quarterly campaign roadmap aligned to firm strategic priorities.
  • Lead integrated campaign development in partnership with Marketing leadership and vendors, ensuring clear sequencing, audience targeting, and channel coordination.
  • Translate firm priorities into cohesive, multi-channel campaigns that drive pipeline growth, advisor engagement, and measurable marketing-attributed outcomes.
  • Define campaign briefs, messaging frameworks, and distribution strategies before asset development begins.
  • Ensure all campaigns align with Blue Trust’s Brand Strategy and Verbal Identity.

Content Ecosystem Leadership

  • Own and maintain the firmwide content calendar across internal and external channels, including blog, email, newsletter, social, web, and executive communications.
  • Oversee content architecture to ensure narrative consistency, strategic sequencing, and clarity of purpose.
  • Ensure all content production, from brief to final delivery, aligns with campaign strategy, messaging hierarchy, compliance standards, and brand voice prior to publication.
  • Direct the development of campaign-aligned email series, landing pages, blog content, executive messaging, and social storytelling.
  • Eliminate reactive content by establishing structured planning rhythms.

Internal & Executive Communications Strategy

  • Represent content and campaign strategy in executive planning discussions and recommend messaging priorities aligned to firm growth objectives.
  • Own strategy and coordination for internal communications, including messaging alignment for monthly all-hands in collaboration with the Manager, Events & Experiences.
  • Ensure executive messaging aligns with broader campaign narratives and brand priorities.
  • Provide clarity and sequencing discipline across internal and external storytelling.

Team & Vendor Leadership

  • Lead and manage the firm’s content function, including internal contributors and external partners.
  • Provide strategic direction to content creators, freelancers, and agency partners.
  • Partner with the Manager, Marketing Technology & Performance to ensure campaign execution aligns with platform capabilities and reporting needs.
  • Coordinate with Events & Experiences and Field Marketing & Enablement to ensure campaign integration across experiential and advisor-facing initiatives.
  • Leads team in a manner that is consistent with Company’s Management Language, leadership principles and values.
  • Serve as the final strategic authority prior to campaign and content release.

Measurement & Optimization

  • Establish campaign KPIs in coordination with Marketing Technology & Performance.
  • Monitor pipeline influence, engagement metrics, and content performance across channels.
  • Refine sequencing and content direction based on measurable outcomes and executive priorities.
  • Approaches work, interactions and relationships in a manner consistent with the Company’s Core Values
  • Understands the counsel and biblical basis upon which Blue Trust serves its client base. 
  • Maintains the highest Compliance standards by adhering to the company's Human Resources guidelines, Compliance policies and procedures, professional designation standards, and industry's regulatory standards to mitigate risk to the company

  • Integrated campaigns influence pipeline growth, advisor engagement, and measurable marketing-attributed outcomes.
  • Content and messaging remain consistent across channels and divisions.
  • Engagement metrics improve across email, web, and social platforms.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience leading integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.

 Education, Experience & Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) required.
  • 10+ years preferred, with demonstrated leadership of integrated marketing functions.
  • Experience managing multi-channel campaigns in financial services or other regulated environments preferred.
  • Experience leading small teams or managing direct reports required.
  • Agency collaboration experience strongly preferred.

Travel Requirements:


Periodic travel (10–20%) to support campaign activations, content captures, executive planning sessions, and key firm initiatives. Travel should directly support campaign strategy and alignment.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
