Job Description

The Senior Manager will report to the Senior Director, Core Product Strategy and Management to coordinate and drive product management strategy initiatives. The role holder will work with and support Consumer Solutions verticals, Core Products (Credit, Debit, Prepaid), Modernized Credentials (Flex, Instalments, ALM, API-based solutions), Affluent & Segments and Seller-side Solutions, as well as market teams in development of their plays to deploy these solutions.

This role will also support regional business planning needs, monitoring of competitive developments across the region or globally, and development of timely response to emerging trends and opportunities across AP. In this role, you are expected to

Able to assess multifaceted implications for Visa of consumer payment trends and developments and makes sound recommendations, ensures strategic and financial soundness and alignment for any recommendations

Works together with the senior leadership of the Consumer Solutions team on strategic projects, driving data-driven insights to develop recommendations for the regional or market teams

Work in close collaboration with our Finance, Business Planning and other corporate functions to develop and manage scorecard and targets, performance management measures and metrics, and develop reporting and executive communication materials

Communicates and presents recommendations and supporting rationale to mid-to-senior management in a clear, concise, and impactful way

Able to independently manage meetings with working team and cross functional peers

Leads various ad-hoc internal deliverables as assigned (e.g., development on new product management tools and processes etc.)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in Economics, Business or similar fields
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in management consulting or internal strategy role in a global company
  • Self-starter, team oriented, collaborative, with ability to participate in complex cross-enterprise projects and processes with multiple stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to develop content independently and prioritize deliverables and projects to meet timelines efficiently and ability to adapt to changes in priorities quickly
  • Ability to independently lead workstreams within large and complex projects or smaller scale projects
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills and analytical rigor, attention to detail and ability to structure and analyze sophisticated financial modeling
  • Strong strategic acumen with demonstrated intellectual curiosity
  • Excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities
  • Complete team player, able to work across cultures, upholds and promotes highest ethical standards and mutual respect in the workplace
  • Strong project management skills, able to plan for timelines and milestones for cross-functional teams
