Madrigal’s medication, Rezdiffra (resmetirom), is a once-daily, oral, liver-directed THR-β agonist designed to target key underlying causes of MASH. The Senior Marketing Manager, Consumer Marketing will take a leading role in the development and execution of MASH patient marketing programs and assets supporting our Best In Class Patient Ambassador Network, its growth and execution, including content and tactical development, along with their review and approval. This position offers the unique opportunity to contribute to the commercial success of resmetirom, a first-to-market therapeutic with blockbuster potential, by educating and engaging and connecting MASH patients.
Working closely with the Brand Directors and cross-functional teams, this individual will lead Patient Ambassador Network program and associated asset development that is aligned to our ambition and strategy. This role is critical in ensuring the consistent and impactful representation of the brand in front of patients through Patient Ambassadors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation of consumer marketing assets (Patient Ambassador stories and program materials), including development, review, approval that aligns with brand positioning, messaging, and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (e.g., medical affairs, clinical, regulatory, market research) to ensure scientific accuracy and brand consistency, all while using patient-friendly language.
- Manage the content lifecycle, from initial concept through final approval, ensuring timely delivery to meet aggressive deadlines
- Ensure all content adheres to FDA regulations, industry standards, and company guidelines, while meeting the needs of the target patient audience.
- Use insights to refine marketing strategies for future assets.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities, identifying opportunities for differentiation
-Represent Madrigal at select Ambassador training and live patient events (estimate ~10% travel)
-Oversee Patient Ambassador onboarding and training process
Qualifications and Skills:
- Self-motivated, independent thinker with a proven ability to develop high-quality, impactful marketing materials
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate clinical data into clear, engaging messages for patients.
- Experience working cross-functionally to ensure alignment with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry regulations
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Required to be in office 3 days per week (Conshohocken, PA or Waltham, MA)
-Travel ~10%
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
- 7+ years of biopharmaceutical consumer marketing or agency experience (required).
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including medical, legal, and regulatory stakeholders.
- Strong experience in digital marketing, video, and multimedia content development is a plus.

Base salary is determined by several factors including the candidate’s qualifications, skills, education, experience, business needs and market demands. The base salary range for this position is $159,000 to $194,000 per year.
