The AI Strategy & Transformation Senior Manager is responsible for shaping and executing the organization's AI strategy, leading enterprise-wide transformation programs, and driving the implementation of AI initiatives that deliver measurable business value. This role serves as a critical bridge between strategic vision and operational delivery, ensuring AI capabilities are embedded across functions at scale.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy & Key Initiatives
- AI Strategy Development: Define and evolve the enterprise AI transformation roadmap aligned with organizational priorities, identifying high-impact initiatives and emerging opportunities
- Stakeholder Alignment: Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to build consensus on AI ambition, investment priorities, and sequencing of initiatives
2. Transformation Program Leadership
- Program Governance: Design and lead the AI transformation program framework, including operating models, governance structures, and success metrics
- Change Management: Drive organizational readiness through capability building, change adoption strategies, and cultural transformation toward AI-first ways of working
- Portfolio Management: Oversee the portfolio of AI initiatives, balancing quick wins with longer-term transformational bets
3. Implementation & Delivery
- Execution Oversight: Drive end-to-end implementation of AI solutions from proof-of-concept through to scaled deployment, ensuring timelines and outcomes are met
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with data science, engineering, IT, and business teams to remove barriers and accelerate delivery
- Value Realization: Establish KPIs and tracking mechanisms to quantify business impact, continuously optimizing for ROI
Qualifications
- Experience: 5–8 years in strategy, transformation, or digital/AI roles, with experience on leading enterprise-scale AI or digital programs; pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
- Education: Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field preferred
- Strategic Acumen: Proven ability to translate complex technology landscapes into clear, actionable business strategies
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience influencing senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams without direct authority
