Position Summary: Sr. Manager, Channel Analytics


The Sr. Manager, Channel Analytics will be responsible for translating complex data into actionable insights, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving the commercial success of our products. Reporting to the Director of Data Strategy and Analytics, the role involves oversight of SP data, communication with internal trade partners, data analysis for business reviews, and internal insight generation across pilot programs, Channel digital solutions, and enhanced services.


Job Responsibilities:


Daily Oversight of SP Data: In partnership with AD, Commercial Data Management teammate, manage daily oversight of SP data, specifically focusing on identifying delayed or potentially missing records and communicating with internal trade team


Communication with Trade Partners: Identify and communicate with trade partners (i.e. SP’s and SD’s) in collaboration with Madrigal trade regarding data discrepancies, patients stuck in the channel, and any bottlenecks


Channel Partner Business Reviews: Own production, review, and summary of monthly and quarterly Business Review insights in collaboration with Madrigal Trade


Internal Insight Generation: Generate internal insights across Channel pilot programs I.E., digital solutions and enhanced services. Support internal MA/Trade team around Ad-hoc analysis requests


Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional partners, including Sales Planning, Marketing, Trade, Patient Access, Market Access, Medical, and Legal


Required Skills & Abilities:


Proficiency in analytical tools such as SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)


Solid understanding of pharmaceutical commercialization processes, market access, and regulatory considerations


Demonstrated ability to leverage channel data to drive strategic decision-making


Excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity to work with complex, diverse data sets


Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders


Ability to drive multiple workstreams simultaneously and prioritize efforts


Natural curiosity and the ability to challenge the status quo


Operate and thrive in a high-paced and lean environment


Self-motivated and flexible


Education and Experience:


Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (statistics, economics, data science, or related disciplines preferred; MBA is a plus)


Minimum of 6 years of experience in pharmaceutical analytics, Trade or similar Space


4+ years of experience with Specialty Pharmacy Data


Experience in specialty pharmacy distribution models and patient hub


Experience in working in a start-up environment and building from the ground up is preferred


Product launch experience is a plus
