The Senior Manager Category Management Global Procurement Capability Centre in Bengaluru will be responsible for implementation and leadership of a new team within the newly formed Capability Centre to enable delivery of Global Procurement responsibilities at Regeneron. The role will be responsible for managing a team of professionals passionate about enablement of category management in supporting global procurement.

In this role typical day might include performing the following:

Accountable for leadership of a team of associates and specialists redefining market intelligence, using internal and external analytics, into insights to enable Category Management across the Global Procurement Organisation, including:

  • Providing Category teams with the appropriate micro and macro analysis and insights in support of strategy development and stakeholder engagement.

  • Maintain, standardize, and optimize category management templates, continuously improve the materials available to category teams and stakeholders such as strategy decks and stage gate presentations in a repository.

  • Accountable for the tracking and reporting of internal requests received and actioned by the category management enablement team according to the engagement plan

  • Works closely with the co-located data and analytics teams to demonstrate internal and external data sources in finding opportunities, trends, and patterns to forecast strategic direction and strategy.

  • Summarize results from sourcing and SRM events with comparative analysis of responses, pricing, and evaluations.

  • Support category teams in the development and execution of category strategies, including market analysis, spend analysis, supplier evaluation, and risk management.

  • Facilitate the sourcing process by assisting in the preparation of RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs, and by handling the collection and analysis of responses.

  • Chip in to the continuous improvement of Global Procurement processes and tools, including the development and maintenance of procurement policies, templates, and training materials.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of efficient global procurement organizations and processes within the biopharmaceutical industry to support the growth and evolution of the Global Procurement organization and leverages this knowledge to drive improvements within Regeneron, aligned with corporate priorities.

  • Provides mentor and mentorship job performance and career development to direct reports and provides leadership example for the organization.

  • Coaches proficiency on procurement technical skills among global procurement team

This job might be for you if you:

  • The role requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study plus relevant, dynamic experience in procurement, preferably including experience in Pharma/BioPharma.

  • Experience effectively leading teams, processes and Suppliers across a breadth of categories

  • Builds influential relationships with stakeholders and suppliers to get results for Regeneron.

  • Provide guide insight and knowledge regarding Category Management enablement

  • Individual who is experienced operating with integrity, focus, and transparency in an environment of ambiguity to lead change and improvement.

  • Experience leading specialist and associate level professionals in a multi-national firm including writing performance reviews, setting annual objectives, coaching, and developing direct reports.

  • Proven understanding of category management principles and data understanding of ERP systems such as Oracle; and S2P platforms (Oracle, Zycus, GEP, Ariba, Other) preferred.

  • Ability to demonstrate standard business applications for communicating, presenting and analyzing (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
