Job Title: Senior Manager – Business Support

Mission/ Core purpose of the Job
We are looking for a high-caliber strategic thinker to serve as the Business Support to the MD, working at the intersection of strategy, execution, and high-impact communication. This role goes far beyond crafting boardroom presentations. The holder shall be the MD’s right-hand person, ensuring that all high-stakes projects requiring MD visibility are effectively monitored, executed, and followed through to completion.
The job holder will work across multiple business functions, engage with senior stakeholders, and drive mission-critical initiatives that shape the Company's future. ResponsibilitiesMain Job Functions:
Act as the MD’s strategic partner, ensuring key initiatives and high-stakes projects are progressing as planned.
Track, monitor, and drive fintech business performance across teams.
Track, monitor, and drive execution of critical projects requiring MD oversight ensuring accountability across teams.
Prepare high-impact presentations for Board meetings, AGMs, investor pitches, and public engagements, translating complex business strategies into compelling visual narratives.
Manage executive communication, craft reports, executive summaries, and briefs that keep the MD and stakeholders aligned.
Collaborate with finance, strategy, investor relations, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of strategic priorities.
Provide analysis and insights that help the MD make informed decisions, using data to support key recommendations.
Engage with C-suite executives, board members, investors, and external partners, ensuring that MD directives are effectively communicated and implemented.
Anticipate challenges, identify roadblocks, and proactively problem-solve to keep critical projects on track.
Handle high-pressure situations, competing priorities, and tight deadlines with confidence and efficiency.
Education:
Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or any related discipline.
Relevant post graduate qualification is an advantage.
Experience:
A minimum of 10 to 15 years’ total experience; with at least 5+ years of experience in a similar role, consulting, strategy, investment banking, business intelligence or corporate executive support.
Experience in Financial services, Fintech, banking or Telecom is preferred.
Strong business acumen, deep understanding of corporate strategy, financial services, and market dynamics.
Advanced PowerPoint, Excel, and data visualization skills, you can turn raw data into compelling, executive-ready insights.
Excellent stakeholder management, you can influence, collaborate, and drive alignment at the highest levels.
Exceptional organizational and project management skills, you keep high-impact projects moving forward.
