The Senior Manager, Business Logic Engineering reports to the Sr. Director, Software Engineering & Build Services and is part of the Enterprise Engineering, Software Engineering & Build Services, and will be a Global role.
 

What you will do: 

  • Lead and develop a team of engineers delivering business logic implementations, enhancements, and extensions across enterprise platforms 

  • Implement and enforce engineering standards (coding standards, secure development, quality metrics, peer reviews) to ensure reliable and maintainable solutions 

  • Drive delivery practices aligned to Agile execution and CI/CD-enabled workflows, ensuring quality gates, test evidence, and traceability are embedded into delivery 

  • Ensure audit-ready SDLC controls are consistently applied (change traceability, version control discipline, documentation standards, validation-ready evidence as required) 

  • Partner with Solution Architecture and Analysis & Design to translate designs into build-ready work and ensure solutions remain executable, scalable, and supportable 

  • Coordinate with Release & Change Management and Application Operations teams to ensure deployment readiness, stabilization, and operational excellence 

 

Who you are:  

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field 

  • Multiple years of experience in enterprise software engineering delivery, including people leadership and/or technical delivery leadership responsibilities 

  • Demonstrated experience implementing modern engineering practices (Agile delivery, CI/CD adoption, automated testing and quality gates) 

  • Demonstrated experience applying SDLC controls and traceability suitable for audit-ready delivery (review gates, change traceability, test evidence, documentation discipline) 

  • Working knowledge of regulated delivery expectations impacting engineering (e.g., GxP/CSV documentation and SOX-relevant controls such as segregation of duties and change traceability) 

  • Experience delivering business logic implementations and/or platform customizations/extensions while maintaining supportability in enterprise systems 

  • Experience using enterprise SDLC toolchains (source control + CI/CD + work tracking) and operating within controlled change environments 

 

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: 

  • Ability to travel up to 10%, including occasional overnight and international travel as required for team and stakeholder alignment 

 

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: 

  • Experience delivering engineering on supplier-extended enterprise platforms (customizations/extensions) while maintaining vendor supportability 

  • Experience with engineering quality metrics and test automation strategies for enterprise platforms
