We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our Integrated Mission Systems team and drive the growth of our market share across Europe. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for developing and executing growth strategies for high-value, integrated solutions involving CBRNE, radars, cameras, and software—serving critical Defense and Border Control missions.

As Sr. Business Development & Sales Manager – Integrated Mission Systems, you will be a key contributor to Teledyne FLIR’s success in the European market. You’ll lead the pursuits of major programs and work closely with key customers- anticipating their needs, shaping requirements, and delivering tailored solutions. Additionally, you will be handling some Border Surveillance and/or C-UAS opportunities where there is strong demand. This role requires close collaboration with Product Management, Program Management, Engineering, Service, and Compliance teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth and increase market share for Integrated Mission Systems in the near term, while identifying and developing long-term opportunities.
  • Engage with government entities—including military organizations, Ministries of Defense (MOD), NSPA, Ministries of Interior (MOI), Border Police, and Frontex—to understand capability gaps and build preference for Teledyne FLIR solutions.
  • Collaborate with vehicle platform OEMs, systems integrators, installers, and other partners to ensure our solutions are competitive, strategic, and preferred by government customers.
  • Lead ongoing and new business pursuits from initial customer engagement through to contract award and handover to program teams.
  • Lead large program capture efforts with the support of cross-functional teams.
  • Meet and exceed defined sales and business development targets, including both short-term bookings and long-term strategic goals.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in business development or sales within the Defense, especially ground based, National Security, or System Integration sectors- preferably with a focus on integrated CBRNE solutions and Nuclear, Biological, Chemical Reconnaissance Vehicle solutions.
  • Experience from border surveillance, and/or counter-UAS (C-UAS) solutions is also positive and helpful for this position.
  • Strong understanding of European government procurement processes and experience working with international defense organizations or funded programs (EU, UN, FMF, FMS, etc.) is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, high-value pursuits with cross-functional teams.
  • Prior CBRN military and/or contractor with familiarity working recent NATO lead CBRN exercises like Immediate Response and Defender exercises can be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

This position requires access to export-controlled information or items (i.e. regulated technology or technical data per ITAR/EAR US regulations). Applicants must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
