Position Description
This opportunity will be placed in COO Office in Wealth Management business, dedicated to support the financial performance review and monitor activities. The role will work with business stakeholders, salespersons and Account Executives, internal support functions including Finance, IT, Compliance and Treasury, ensuring accurate business performance management, robust internal controls, and continual process improvement through financial transformation, automation and analytics.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the management of financial and business performance processes, with key responsibilities covering the control and administration of revenue and cost sharing, commission rebates, sales incentive programs, and related financial reporting.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
Oversee the preparation of financial management reports related to revenue, costs, and overall business performance; support budgeting and forecasting processes
Execute the end-to-end process for calculating, administering, and reconciling revenue sharing, including support for profit-sharing arrangements and sales incentive calculations
Liaise with Treasury and relevant banks for the daily management of accounts, optimization of deposit interest, fund transfers, and liquidity management
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on queries and settlements relating to rebates, revenue/cost sharing, and incentive programs
Stay abreast of regulatory obligations, risk management guidelines, and ensure adherence to internal control processes in all responsible areas
Perform ad hoc analysis and projects support for business decision making, process enhancement and efficiencies, system improvements, and automation of financial calculations and reporting (e.g., requirements gathering for automation tools such as SAS, Alteryx, or similar platforms) as required
Requirements
Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, Information System or a related discipline; CPA/ CFA is an ideal but not essential
At least 5+ years of relevant experience in management report and business performance management, preferably within wealth management or private banking sectors, prior experience in managing banking relationships, cash liquidity, and foreign exchange operations would be an asset
Practical experience in commission rebate/ incentive calculations, revenue sharing, or treasury operations is highly preferred
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with automation, data analytics, or business intelligence tools (e.g., SAS, Alteryx, SQL, Power BI) is a strong advantage
Proactive and solutions-oriented approach with a focus on process optimization and continuous improvement
Excellent interpersonal and tri-lingual communication skills, capable of coordinating across functions and translating complex technical matters for non-specialists
Strong analytical and numerical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities in a fast-paced team environment
