The Opportunity:

We’re looking to fill an opening for a Senior Manager, Brand & Growth Marketing, to join our Product Marketing team for Qtrade.

Reporting to the Director, Product Marketing, Direct Investing, the Senior Manager, Brand & Growth Marketing is responsible for driving brand awareness and familiarity, accelerating direct-to-consumer acquisition growth, and optimizing performance across the funnel.

This role drives planning and delivery against DTC targets, leads GTM and integrated campaigns, and is accountable for performance optimization in close partnership with agency and cross-functional delivery teams responsible for website, onboarding, and conversion experiences. You will set targets, oversee performance reporting, and ensure continuous optimization across campaigns and digital journeys.

You will operate confidently at both strategic and executional levels – shaping growth strategy, guiding agency partners, collaborating with product and experience teams, and communicating performance insights to senior stakeholders.

You are passionate about being the “voice of our customer” and understand the importance of being an advocate for them with the ability to explain the value of highly technical concepts in human, relatable, compelling language. As a data-driven, business-minded senior marketer, you will leverage data to uncover meaningful insights to capitalize on a high growth DIY Investing market.

What your day looks like:

Brand Leadership

  • Assist and support Contribute and help shape the brand strategy to drive awareness, familiarity, and consideration across priority audiences
  • Act as a brand steward, ensuring consistency and quality across all channels, partners, and digital touchpoints
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to bring the brand to life in a way that is differentiated, credible, and customer centric
  • Monitor brand health, competitive dynamics, and consumer insights to inform strategy

Growth & Acquisition Marketing

  • Lead integrated acquisition campaigns across paid digital, partnerships, and owned channels to drive new funded clients
  • Translate business goals into clear media, creative, and channel strategies
  • Partner with agency and internal partners to set targets, define KPIs, and continuously optimize performance
  • Build strong, insights-driven briefs that connect customer needs, creative ideas, and media execution

Performance Optimization & Analytics

  • Oversee performance optimization across the acquisition funnel, including demand generation, conversion, and cost efficiency
  • Partner with experience team members and delivery squads to optimize performance and execute tests across the public website, landing pages, and onboarding journeys
  • Establish and lead a measurable experimentation roadmap (A/B testing, messaging, creative, funnel optimization)
  • Develop and provide regular performance reporting and insights to Director, informing broader stakeholder updates, translating data into insights and recommendations

Agency & Budget Leadership

  • Act as the primary marketing day-to-day contact for media and creative agencies as it relates to campaign execution
  • Own planning, forecasting, post-mortem reviews, and optimization discussions with partners
  • Oversee campaign pacing, performance optimization, and reporting; make data-driven decisions to ensure strategies are effective and support annual acquisition and growth targets as well as budget parameters

Requirements

Your experience and skills:

  • 7+ years of DTC marketing experience with strong depth in brand, growth marketing, and digital
  • Proven success owning acquisition targets and managing paid media at scale
  • Strong understanding of performance measurement, attribution, and optimization
  • Experience working with product and agile/delivery teams to improve digital journeys and conversion
  • Deep experience managing agencies and marketing budgets
  • Effective communicator leveraging data to identify themes, building a narrative and secure buy-in
  • Attention to detail to ensure operational excellence in a highly regulated environment
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics and performance tools such as Google Analytics (GA4), Looker Studio, PowerBI, SEMRush etc.
  • Financial services, online brokerage experience is an asset.
  • Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset

Salary

This position is posted with an expected salary range of $115,000 - $135,000 CAD annually. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate and the requirements of the position.
