Senior Manager, Billing

The Senior Manager of Billing will manage the current Billing Team of 6 employees whose size and scope will continue to grow. This manager is responsible for ensuring that a major portion of the full order to cash process is executed timely and accurately through strong team enablement and performance management. They will be responsible for improving current billing processes as well as building out new processes required by the fast growth at Restaurant365. This role will work cross functionally with Deal Desk, Accounting, Sales, Contracts, Enterprise Technology and Customer Success to understand the needs of the business and provide guidance on financial systems and process.
This role requires strong leadership, communication, project management skills along with demonstrated experience successfully handling complex escalations and guiding teams through new system and process implementations.
This role is part of the Finance Operations function within the overall Finance org. We move fast, we have fun, and we like to solve problems all day every day.
How you'll add value:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Billing Team, including workforce planning, training, and managing performance
- Analyze root causes of systemic financial issues and develop solutions
- Lead highest-priority customer escalations through to satisfactory resolution
- Oversee and improve operational pieces of billing such as internal and external ticketing systems
- Drive execution of new billing and AR systems implementations and process improvement initiatives
- Develop and analyze key metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
- Work closely with Sales and Customer Success on renewal and retention initiatives
- Lead team to hit companywide billing OKR’s
What you'll need to be successful in this role:
- 5+ years in billing, credit, collections, and/or customer service
- 2+ years successfully leading teams
- Expert knowledge of subscription order-to-cash operations
- Hands-on experience with complex customer issue resolution
- Exceptional relationship building and communication abilities
- Process orientation with analytical and problem-solving skills
- Salesforce, Intacct or Netsuite experience is a plus but is not required

- This position has a salary range of $105K-$140K. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location.
