Individuals at this level should have an advanced understanding of accounts payable and bookkeeping. Senior Managers will be responsible for the review of work, overseeing client accounts, and training and developing staff. Senior Managers will work independently on client and project work and receive guidance from designated Team Leader when needed
Responsibilities:
- Final review of client accounts of before transmission to Accounting team
- Onboard new clients, both known and new concepts
- Training and development of staff
- Assist team members with questions, training and general understanding
- Automation troubleshooting Champion.
- Test and implement new processes
- Take lead on special projects as needed for department and firm
- Provide backup when needed
- Assist team leaders with various team metrics and goals.
- Assist team leaders with staff review process.
- Continually learn new skills and share knowledge and trends with others.
- Ensure that all work and tasks are compliant with bookkeeping standards.
- Monitor tasks and projects through workflow management tool to ensure all work is completed in a timely manner and prior to deadlines.
- Champion team, department and firm initiatives
- Continually seek opportunities for process improvements, which may lead to championing certain firm projects.
- Engage fully with offshore team members including training, collaboration and utilization of offshore capabilities and capacity.
- Other duties as may be assigned.
